Pros:
Best price, quickly shipped. APC customer service easy to work with; shipped replacement quickly with free return shipping when taken to UPS location.
Cons:
Arrived with broken LCD, unusuable. I decided to work through APC directly rather than PCNation for the return.

Pros:
Very easy to set up. Nice display. No guessing about how much power/time is left. Software shuts hardware down before battery expires. Price is reasonable. Extra plug ins for surge protection only.
Cons:
Back up power time could be longer. I connected the unit to my weather server. It will power it for just over 60 minutes. 2 hours would be better, but I''m happy.

I bought the ups because during a recent windstorm we lost power. I didn''t get the weather data I wanted from my weather station. An hour of backup would have given me the data, then the computer would have safely powered down.

Pros:
Easy to set up, very reliable. Tells me everything I need to know about my power. Plenty of room to expand if you are a home user. This product will be all you need for quite some time.
Cons:
Not a lot of room for transformers on the back of it...easily solved with an old power strip. And I don''t worry about surges on those strips because they are coming off the clean power.

Clean power is above all else the most important factor in giving your computer years of use! If you like to upgrade, you''d better make sure you preserve your core components.
