Pros:
Built in wireless print server and internal duplexer work well. Color printing is acceptable for doents, but clearly not "photo" quality when printing pictures. This should not be considered a con, as no laser printer I''ve seen could be considered for high-quality printing of photographs. BR-Script emulation of PostScript works well, though it would be nice if Brother simply licensed PostScript.
Cons:
Doors and trays feel flimsy, though they should be OK with careful use. If printing PostScript files, one should definitely consider adding the maximum memory to prevent printing errors.
Comment:
This has been a great all-around printer for our office. Being able to leverage its wireless capability to locate it where we want it -- without stringing or pulling cable -- is a definite plus. And the built-in duplexer is a must for our printing needs. All around, a very good value.

Pros:
For the price that is frankly quite low, you get a printer that is fast, prints great in black & white, and has several connection option: USB, wireless, and Ethernet. It will print text and photos from USB devices. The menus are simple and informative. Finally, this printer has built-in duplexing.
Cons:
A bit on the heavy side.
Comment:
This printer replaced my old Samsung CLP-500. I am very happy with the improvements in the color of photographs and the clarity of text. For double-sided printing it is advisable to use color laser-rated paper.
