Pros:
GIGA-BIT ports are very quick! Alowed me to remove a switch from my network. XBOX Live seems lag-free. Reduced A-lot of my browser lag, from MS IE tabed browsing. SSL works well, firewall has been exposed to the internet for a week, thru DynDNS, AND not hacked!
Cons:
SSL certificate needs to be updated. NEW interface....NOT as good as old! Not free.
Comment:
With the exception of the SSL certificate error for configuration(click the red, bottom option), this router works very, very, very well.

Pros:
Netgear FVS336G - 4x1GB LAN ports ;
Acceptable Firewall/VPN router;
Dual-WAN 2x1GB for HA -- if needed.
Cons:
e-Mail alert option does not work as stated. Example, the FVS336G has 3 schedules for sending the logs to a user specified email addr (hourly, Daily, Weekly). No matter which one I choose, it continue to send tens of alert - average of 50-60 email alerts per day.
Comment:
Netgear FVS336G is a Straight forward Firewall/VPN router for small to mid size LAN. No limit on concurrent connection as seen with CPoint Safe@office 500, which I returned due to CP''s poor customer service. Despite the fact that I had to pay excessive charges for just 25-User upgrade license. It ought to be generated and delivered via email, one week later there was no response from CP I cancelled and bought FVS336G. Good decision; good product; no regrets.

Pros:
Simple setup, SSL VPN, IPSEC VPN, configuration and management options galore. Rock solid with no problems serving our 18/5 connection and auto fail over to the secondary WAN port works flawlessly even when the primary is still up but simply flaky.
Cons:
Installing an SSL certificate seems to be impossible. NetGear support is useless in getting it done.
Comment:
Its a really good router except that when users access the SSL login for the VPN client they get an SSL error message. The message has to do with the fact that the unit is using a self-signed cert from NetGear and should go away once you buy your own and load it, but so far no one has figured out how to do that last part.
