Pros:
I was looking for a basic NAS for home use that I could backup a few PC''s to, set up remote access to share photos with family and friends, and enjoy listening to music without having to have my PC on. This product does all of this just fine. Transfer rate is pretty fast over a Gigabyte network.
PC Nation had the best price and delivered when they said they would. I''ve purchased from them before and never had a problem.
Cons:
It only comes with one license of MEMEO backup software which is kind of cheap. Additional licenses are reasonable. Like most items these days, the doentation is lacking at best.
Comment:
I looked at several NAS devices before deciding on this. None seem to be perfect but I actually bought this device when it first came out and didn''t have any reviews yet. Some of the things I like about this unit over others is that it runs cool, runs on low power, will automatically turn off and turn back on when you turn your PC on (this feature is optional)

Pros:
East set up. Works exactly as expected at an incredible price/performance relative to other options. No problem with recognition of drive or media on XP PCs and wireless PS3; did not even require setting up software on each machine. Able to serve iTunes and photos to all devices. Very quiet except for start up. Scheduled shut down/start up and HDD spin down are great options for minimizing energy usage.
Cons:
I wish the media manager was more robust, e.g., TwonkyMedia. It serves media, but that is about it. Only includes one license for Memeo backup software.
Comment:
I purchased this device to create a fast, networked drive for backup and media serving for the 3 desktops, 2 laptops, and 1 PS3 in my house. Using the drive, MS SyncToy and the XP task scheduler, I was able to setup a transparent mirroring of all systems for very low cost. I may add additional Memeo licenses or other backup software in the future for more control over backups.

Pros:
Quiet, runs cool, modest performance with files smaller than 8MB in size.
Cons:
Drive failed within 20 days, extremely poor tech support, a power failure or improper shutdown will reak havoc on this drive, it will corrupt the firmware (I was astonished by this!), also the hard drive failed in it, fails to internally mount the drive properly. Tech support advised to rma it.
Comment:
Drive needs work, I don''t think its ready to be put into a production environment yet, needs further testing/bug fixes. Unacceptable that the firmware corrupts in the event of a power outage. Frame burst feature is useless on this drive. Performance only good with small file sizes of under 8MB.
Drive Stability and Operational Failure Resistance Need Much Improvement!
